Weyrling Rules

1. No visitors in the barracks.
The barracks are a private place, and will be the living quarters for the weyrlings and their new dragons. Visitors are not allowed, as it needs to be a place for weyrlings and dragons to escape from the hastle and hustle of every day life, a place of refuge. Other than the current weyrlings, the only people allowed int eh barracks are those with the word 'weyr' in their title. Ex: Weyrlingmaster, Assistant Weyrlingmaster, Weyrleader, Weyrwoman.

2. No traveling
Baby dragons tire quickly and upset easily. Weyrlings need to stay close to their new lifemates to avoid distressing them. Which means weyrlings should stay close to the barracks to avoid… er.. let's call it "accidental nappings". Baby dragons can fall asleep anywhere and everywhere.

3. No drinking
Intoxication is to be avoided at all cost, and kind of goes along with the next two. Weyrlings are prohibited from consumption of alcoholic beverages until the dragons are mature enough to handle it. Toward the end of weyrlinghood, weyrlings may be allowed to partake in a glass of wine or beer with dinner, but limited to ONE, only. Anyone believed incapable being responsible with alcohol will find this privlege revoked.

4. Avoid strong emotions
Baby dragons are prone to over reacting, and aren't yet capable of understanding strong or mature emotions (such as strong anger during a fight). Weyrlings are cautioned to avoid extreme emotions, and of course…

5. No sex
This is even more dangerous than fighting, as young dragons don't know how to interpret strong feelings of attraction and affection for someone else, and may become distressed thinking their weyrling does not love them as much. This restrction will not be lifted until the weyrlingmasters believe the dragons have matured enough to handle it, usually at the Mating Flights lecture.

6. No Between
This is a BIG one. No weyrling is to attempt to go Between until given express instructions by the weyrlingmasters, during the course of the proper lesson. Anyone attempting to go Between outside of the lesson would likely be lost (dead), so don't do this if you value your life and your dragon's life.
